“There is a greater force which exists above us but you can only feel its power once have exhausted your own powers” - Trupti Bhuta
I could see something moving from my peripheral vision , I ignored it thinking it was small and insignificant, but after some time it finally got my attention. The first thing I noticed was its maroon colour just like the colour of the mat it was trying to climb on. The loose strands of the mat on which it was climbing had curved up a little which made the strands look like a mountain compared to the tiny creature, but that was not the only difficulty it was facing , the ceiling fan was on full speed causing the curved strand to move from side to side, it probably felt like an earthquake for a figure this small. I was just blankly staring at it, seeing it struggle while moving forward. Seconds passed and then I decided to help that little guy by flattening the loose strands for it to move on and reach its destination . Right then and there I had my moment of epiphany , realization of that’s how the whole universe works, if you work hard to reach your goals, if you sweat as if you poured a bucket of water on yourself, only then you will attract a powerful external force by gaining the attention of the universe. In that maroon guys case I was the external force.
I helped it because I saw it struggling but not giving up at the same time. Now you might be thinking what this has anything to do with the topic , if you recall the whole story you will understand that small moving thing had influenced me into believing there is a greater force which exists above us but you can only feel its power once you have exhausted your own powers. We often seek for wisdom from great thinkers, Scientist, celebrities etc but we don’t realize if we open our eyes a tad bit wider and stop being negative we could be influenced by just anything, not just people but by scenarios, situations, nature, stories or in my case a tiny little Maroon Bug .
Heck just by writing what I am writing I'm influenced to write more. If you want a change in life stop with the orthodox way of looking at things and broaden your horizon and you shall be influenced to achieve your greatest limits.
