Young Creatives Writing Competition 2021 (Global) by The Inked Perceptions The Inked Perceptions is an India based global forum of writers who aim to spread hope, positivity and love among people using the creative tools of expression.  Young Creatives is a writing program where creative people meet and collaborate to spark change with their extraordinary talent and alive passion. We are inviting people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to join our forum, together as one. People who are a keynote speaker, author, philosopher, traveller, artist, musician, poet, activist, entrepreneur, NGO head are encouraged to join and get featured in the list of 'Young Creatives 2021'. As a part of the program, you need to write an original essay on the creative theme of your choice: Philosophical, Spiritual, Political or others with words between 1000-1500 and submit that in the application form with your details as asked in the form.

Is it just me or are we all tripping over the edge?
Come back! 
You see the beauty in twinkling stars but not in yourself 
You see the beauty in the tallest mountains but not in yourself 
You see the beauty in the curvy waves but not in yourself 
You see the beauty in the straight lanes but not in yourself 
You see the beauty in the glowing moon but not in yourself
STEP BACK! Stop refusing and start seeing the beauty in you
Why is there room for hate and not love?
Why is there room for war but not peace 
Surrounded with beauty, no one takes notice
Days become weeks, weeks become months
Yet no difference in the world 
Hate, negativity, judging 
Have we all given up?
When the sun doesn't shine
When stars don't align 
When the you seem to be tripping on the edge
Remember light is often found on the edge 
A new ray of positivity ls experienced
Go out there and feel this beautiful journey called
                           "LIFE"

Hey! My name is Sarah Shroff I am from Dubai,UAE. I am currently in grade 11 at school I am really passionate about writing and I have written various short poems. Along with that I enjoy listening to music and playing sports like badminton and swimming.I believe that in the midst of all our struggles for the persuit of happiness there are moments of relief, comfort and love that keeps us grounded in the things that give us meaning in life.
