Young Creatives Writing Competition 2021 (Global) by The Inked Perceptions The Inked Perceptions is an India based global forum of writers who aim to spread hope, positivity and love among people using the creative tools of expression.  Young Creatives is a writing program where creative people meet and collaborate to spark change with their extraordinary talent and alive passion. We are inviting people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to join our forum, together as one. People who are a keynote speaker, author, philosopher, traveller, artist, musician, poet, activist, entrepreneur, NGO head are encouraged to join and get featured in the list of 'Young Creatives 2021'. As a part of the program, you need to write an original essay on the creative theme of your choice: Philosophical, Spiritual, Political or others with words between 1000-1500 and submit that in the application form with your details as asked in the form.

A Pause | The Inked Perceptions

A PAUSE
The dawn brushed the sky with crimson smears
She climbed all the way up with tears.
On and on, the black birds crossed the sun
Holding her shattered pieces she made the hardest run.
A splash of purple and a tinge of pink
For beneath the cliff in the void her life will sink.
The final touch, gentle breeze with a flow
Her open hair felt the emotions glow.
For one last glimpse of the world, she looked up.
The unframed painting by nature, the seasoned artist
Made her pause.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Poetry always helps me to express my feelings. Poetry is my way of escaping from worldly pains. I have received numerous certificates and prizes for versification and poem writing from school level to district level including competitions conducted by the central university. Human emotions and concern and love for mother nature and wildlife are my prime areas of writing. I have passed a certified course of poetry workshop from California University of Arts.
